The Queen’s Startup Summit is an annual initiative founded by the Queen’s Innovation Connector that supports the advancement of student entrepreneurship, providing an opportunity for students to collaborate, compete, and realize their potential. Located in Kingston, Ontario I have participated as both a delegate and worked on the executive team as the Marketing Publications Coordinator. Throughout my time I have managed and evolved the brand direction, publications, digital marketing materials as well as designing and developing the conference website.

The brand refresh introduced a cleaner, minimalistic, blue-red gradient aesthetic to introduce more colours than previous years. The tone was monumental as was reflected in the mountainous imagery and language to challenge delegates to think big and use the summit as a huge learning opportunity.
Animated digital marketing adverts engaged viewers on average 30% more than traditional static graphics.
